When the package was opened a metal piece fell out. It was the unattached shoulder strap latch. After further examination it was found that the latch had broken into three pieces. Guess it had a rough trip from India. I used a substitute part to affix the strap to the bag. Also did not know it would have a hairy surface; thought it was all leather. Not exactly a summery bag. I gave bag one 🌟 because it's very cute and a great size.🙃
